Our team members have proven in-depth knowledge of investment markets, portfolio management, investment analysis, economics, as well as tax and estate planning. Many team members hold one or several professional designations including chartered financial analyst (CFA), chartered investment manager (CIM®), certified financial planner (CFP®), chartered professional accountant (CPA) and fellow, Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), as well as Master's degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Economics.

Robert Currie, CFA
Portfolio Manager
Robert joined Louisbourg in 2016 as an investment analyst and is now the Associate Portfolio Manager of the US and International Equity strategies. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University (MTA) and is a CFA Charterholder. As a senior member of the investment team, Robert plays a crucial role in contributing to Louisbourg’s equity research. He also plays a role in managing the allocations within the Assumption Life portfolio solutions. He remains active at MTA as a frequent guest lecturer and helps run the investment club
